Calmness has Returned in Beirut after Clashes Between Hariri Followers and Security Forces

Official sources said that the clashes erupted over the successor to name Hassan Diab to form a new government, as the protesters cut several roads inside Beirut and main roads in other regions, including Tripoli and Akkar in the north and the Bekaa in the east. The Corniche Al-Mazraa area, which is one of the strongholds of the Future Movement, witnessed the protesters cut a main road and confrontations with the army who tried to open the road. The Prime Minister-designate, Hassan Diab, confirmed his efforts to form a government of specialists and independent persons to deal with the economic collapse.
