Venezuela: Guaido calls on military to join him during Caracas demo

Speaking before his supporters, Juan Guaido said that every new country that recognizes him as president is "a victory of the people of Venezuela." Guaido then called on the military to join him, and to allow the entrance of the humanitarian aid. "We'll keep inviting the humanitarian aid to enter, because it will enter Venezuela no matter what. Because the usurper will have to leave Venezuela, no matter what," Guaido said, in an apparent reference to Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro. One young protester who attended the rally said he took to the streets to call for the acceptance of humanitarian aid, and to commemorate the Venezuelan protests in 2014, saying "In the history of Venezuela, this government massacred lots of students and lots of young people of the country."
